Green Hotel - Tällberg

With sweeping views of Lake Siljan and the picturesque village of Tällberg, Green Hotel is perfectly situated for a wide range of summer and winter sports. The hotels oldest building was built in 1917 and still retains much of its old charm. The staff wears traditional Dalecarlia costumes and within the hotel guests can admire displays of original artwork. Staff from Green Hotel has participated at the 2008 Culinary Olympics and the hotel is conscious of its gourmet traditions: here the set menu dinner has been served at the same set time since 1947. Green Hotel is part of a project called Food around Lake Siljan, promoting the use of local ingredients in food production. The hotel also serves home made pies and sandwiches which can be ordered and enjoyed on one of the terraces. Guests can hike to the nearby Digerberget mountain, play golf or tennis, work out in the exercise room, enjoy a refreshing dip in the pool and relax in the sauna. The hotel garden also has a playground for children.
