Arrive on a red carpet at the main castle entrance or at the steamboat pier. Dating from the 1640s, Sundbyholms Slott is one of the most famous and reproduced estate paintings in Sweden. A few days spent at Sundbyholms Castle – any time of the year - can be as peaceful and relaxing or as full of activities as you want them. You can dine in style in the castle or in the privacy of your tastefully decorated room or glorious suite. Rent a boat for a picnic in the harbour or ice skates for some long distance skating followed by mulled wine. Play a round of golf, have a dip in the lake or a long walk before afternoon tea by the fireplace. Sundbyholms is located just over an hour's drive or train ride from Stockholm.

Enjoy a meal in the restaurant with its open fireplace, antique paintings and stunning views of Lake Mälaren. Two beautiful rooms are available. In addition, the banquet hall caters for up to 250 people, providing the perfect function venue. The lovely Castle Restaurant serves excellent à la carte dishes made from local produce from the Castle’s own garden. All meals are served in the exclusive Castle location. The Castle wine cellar offers a superb selection of wine, allowing the choice of a perfect match for the meal.

Guests arriving after 14:00 on Sundays must contact the hotel reception to get a code for check-in. Please note that the castle restaurant is normally closed on Sundays.
