Situated at the very heart of Gothenburg by Drottningtorget this recently opened 4 star hotel has added an additional 123 guest rooms to the original 3 star 75 rooms. Grand Hotel Opera has 123 new 4-star rooms and 75 3-star rooms located in the old part of the hotel. Please note that the hotel entrance is now in Nils Ericsonsgatan.

Grand Hotel Opera is found at the very heart of Gothenburg. Situated close to the main tram station Drottningtorget, the Central Station and the bus terminal, which is the final station for those buses travelling from Landvetter Airport and Gothenburg City Airport. Around the corner, is the largest shopping centre in Scandinavia, Östra Nordstan, which retains more than 150 shops and parking facilities, all under one roof. The Exhibition Centre, Liseberg, Scandinavium, Rondo and the Universeum are easily reached by tram. The main tram stop is just 50 meters from the hotel's entrance and provides connections to the most popular attractions in Gothenburg.

The easiest way to arrive by car: - From the E6 motorway, follow signs for "Centrum". - Drive towards "Centralstation/Östra Nordstan", passing Nordstan Shopping Centre on your right. Please note that we do not have an own parking at the hotel but there is a parking garage close by in Nordstan. As a hotel guest you can purchase tickets with a discount at the front desk.

The Brasserie is open for breakfast daily and for lunch Monday to Friday between 11:30-15:00. It is closed for dinner but a bar menu is available daily between 16:00-23:00.

Please note that if your credit card is not valid, the reservation will be canceled immediately. The hotel doesn’t have its own parking, but there is a parking garage close by in Nordstan. As a hotel guest you can purchase discounted tickets at our front desk.
