Built in 1940, this classic Lappish chalet lies in a picturesque setting surrounded by colourful Swedish architecture and a charming fishing village. Situated in the magnificent Swedish Lappland, just 80 kilometres from the Arctic Circle and only 38 kilometres from the Finnish border. The Lappish Old Post is housed in a typically Swedish timber chalet inspired by Nordic traditions. Less than a 30 minute walk away is Bottenviken, a lake that offers the opportunity for visitors to paddle, fish, or in the winter, ice skate. Numerous winter activities are available such as dog sledding and snow scooter safaris. Apart from the dog sled safari all other activities begin from the chalet.
